Job Scope:
- Engineering of components and product
- Identification of the right manufacturing processes for each design project
- Prepare and manage BOM, 2D drawings, ECN’s and other components and product documentation
- Develop qualification plans for components and final product, working collaboratively with the quality department
- Ensure that NPI project is completed on time as per stipulated targets
- Manage technical development of live products
- Work closely with Manufacturing to understand component and products feasibility and ensure quality standards are upheld
- Cultivate a positive culture in design focusing on collaboration, LEAN standards and practices to increase efficiency
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in R&D, NPI or product engineering
- Competent with Solidworks, CAD tools & design
- Full understanding of value chain needed for creation of high-quality products
- Fluent in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates
- Effective technical skills with leadership capability
