Be creative and get hands-on with this fun and decorative craft activity for your dinosaur loving kids!
You will need:
- Cardboard box
- Penknife
- A pair of scissors
- Coloured markers
Step 1:
You’ll only need one side of the cardboard box to make the dinosaur cut-out. Use a penknife or a pair of scissors to cut off the four corners.
Draw an outline of the body and legs of your favourite dinosaur on the cardboard with a marker. See the above image for reference.
Step 2:
Following the shape, cut the outline of the dinosaur with a penknife or a pair of scissors*.
*Parents can assist the children by cutting the outline for them or keeping a close look when they are cutting the cardboard to prevent accidents or injuries.
Step 3:
Once done, cut a small opening below the dinosaur and on the top of its legs (follow the image above). This is to attach the legs to the dinosaur’s body in order to make it stand.
And, voila! You'll have yourself a cute dinosaur standee which your kids can have fun playing with, you can even place them on your desk to show off your kid’s masterpiece!
